Character Art Commissions
I have opened commissions for authors/creatives to contact me to create character art.
As this is my first time doing any sort of character specific artwork, I will only have single figure character commissions available for this round.
Upon completion I will provide a transparent PNG of your character artwork for your online marketing materials and free gifts/stickers. Not available for sale. Any further use of this artwork will require the signing of a licensing agreement, and appropriate payment.
I do not grant permission for any of my artwork to be used in any generative AI program.
What to Expect
Step 1
Idea Generation
Once I have accepted your commission proposal and have decided on which commission you’d like to receive, I’ll ask for reference images and descriptions of your character.
We’ll discuss ask for any preferences you have for the artwork. Once those decisions are made, a 50% deposit is due before proceeding to sketching thumbnails for your project.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE AVAILABLE PAST THIS POINT.
Step 2
Thumbnail Sketches
One I’ve received the deposit, I will send 2-3 thumbnail sketches highlighting a few different possible poses of your character. This could take up to a week.
If these sketches don’t match your vision, I will revise and send 2-3 more thumbnails before asking you to make a final decision.
Once a thumbnail sketch is agreed on I will proceed to coloring the sketch.
Step 3
Delivering Your Artwork
I’ll send over a full color version of your artwork and you will have 3 rounds of edits to finalize before I send over the final proof. (These can include minor changes, not poses.) Usually this process will be less than 2 weeks.
I will ask for the second half of my deposit before sending over the final proof once edits are completed.
